Box Office Collection
Most venues that sell tickets via Ticketmaster, offer "Box Office Collection", through which you can pick up your tickets in person at the venue prior to the show. If you were able to choose Box Office Collection for your tickets, then it is available for your event. Please be aware that Box Office Collection hours vary. Some may not be open until an hour prior to event time, while others may be open during regular business hours every day. Some buildings advise patrons to arrive very early to pick up tickets to avoid long queues. Most venues however will not let you pick up your tickets from the Box Office until the day of the event.
In order to pick up your tickets, you may be required to present:
- A valid photo ID, driver's license or passport.
- The credit card you used to purchase the tickets.
- Your confirmation number.
The box office will not release tickets if the name on the ID and credit card does not match the name used to purchase the tickets from Ticketmaster or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person retrieving the tickets.
International Box Office Collection
If you order tickets to an Irish or Northern Irish event and you have a billing address that is outside of Ireland or the UK, then you may be obligated to use international Box Office Collection as we may not have sufficient time to post your tickets to you. You must provide an email address, along with a local telephone number where you can be contacted up to the day of the event. Tickets will be held at the venue box office where the event will take place.
Can a friend collect my tickets?
Ticketmaster's policy is that the cardholder must be present when picking up tickets left for collection at the venue. This is necessary for reasons of fraud prevention. In some cases it may be possible for the cardholder to give the person collecting the tickets a Letter of Authorisation to pass to the venue allowing them to collect the tickets on their behalf. Please view the attached list.
Please contact customer service for information on venues that will accept Letters of Authorisation.
If a venue is not listed then that venue will not accept Letters of Authorisation. Please note, at any time the venue box office or the promoter of a particular show may change their rules and stop accepting Letters of Authorisation and refuse entry, Ticketmaster will not accept any responsibility should this happen and still advises customers that any booking made for collection should only be collected by the credit card holder.
