ELECTRIC PICNIC 2017 TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

GENERAL-
a) These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) incorporate, and should be read together with, any Vendor's and/or Agent's T&Cs or regulations, which you can obtain from the point of purchase from the Official Agent
b)Artists and billed attractions may be subject to change
c)No trading allowed within the venue without the Promoters prior consent.
d)Goods using unauthorised event logos and unauthorised professional recording equipment will be confiscated
e)Do not buy tickets, wristbands or goods from unlawful street traders/touts. They are invalid.
f)You give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by An Garda Síochána or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.
g)No unauthorised buses, coaches or trucks will be allowed on site.

REFUNDS -
a)Refunds are only considered on major cancellation, substantial alteration or by special exception determined by the promoter
b)Refunds should be obtained from the point of purchase, no later than 3 months after the event.
c)A minimum of the face value of the ticket will be refunded.
d)Refunds of booking fees per ticket are subject to the T&Cs of the point of sale.

DAMAGE/LOSSES -
The promoter is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including confiscations) or injuries sustained at this event other than caused as a result of our negligence.

AGE POLICY -
a)You must be aged 18 years or over to attend this event, with the exception of children aged 12 years and under.
b)Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult, limited to a maximum of two children per adult.
c)Children aged 12 years and under must be pre-registered prior to the event on the Electric Picnic website.
d)Those wishing to stay in the `Family Campsite' must be accompanied by children aged 12 years and under.

TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS -
a) Tickets are non-transferable and only valid when purchased from official agents of the promoter.
b)Tickets/wristbands purchased from unauthorised sources will be rendered invalid and refused admission.
c)Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry at a wristband exchange. There is no re-admission on day tickets or day wristbands.
d)Tickets must be valid, presented in full, with stubs and not tampered with (in the event of accidental damage, refer to point of purchase prior to event). Tickets remain the property of EP Republic.
e)You are responsible for your wristband. Damaged/Tampered wristbands will be refused entry into the event.
f)The promoter will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets.
g)Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, without the prior written consent of the promoter.
h)You are responsible for your ticket prior to entering the event.
i)All wristbands remain the property of the Promoter until 5pm the day after the last day of the event.

SECURITY
a)The promoter reserves the right to evict a customer without refund, and/or refuse admission.
b)You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving.
c)Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.
d)Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be given to the An Garda Síochána and refused entry.
e)Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.
F)Throwing gas, aerosol or similar canisters/containers on to fires is extremely dangerous and will lead to eviction.

BANNED ITEMS
a)Banned from event - Gas canisters, aerosols over 250ml, airhorns, fireworks, flares, glass, illegal substances, drugs, `legal highs', laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide, sky or `chinese' lanterns, sound systems, spray cans, tabards/high viz jackets, drones.
b)Banned from arena - Cans, disposable BBQs, campsite stoves, flag poles, umbrellas. No drink or alcohol can be brought into the arena, with the exception of sealed soft drinks bottles (up to 500ml) and point c below.
c)4 cans of beer/cider per person or soft drinks bottles (up to 500ml) are permitted to be brought into the arena only once the bars onsite are closed.
d)Generators with the exception of those fixed in campervans.
e)Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol. Only bring enough for personal consumption.
f)Anyone resisting the confiscation of disallowed items or disregarding these conditions will face eviction.
g)Under 18's are not permitted to bring alcohol or to purchase alcohol on site.
h)It is illegal for an over 18 to purchase alcohol on the behalf of under 18s.

FIRE AND SAFETY
a)Fires are not permitted anywhere onsite.
b)The burning of plastics, bedding, tents, furniture etc. is not permitted anywhere onsite.
c)Smoking including electronic cigarettes is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings including the arena big tops.
d)The use of disposable BBQ's and permitted cooking stoves are only permitted in designated BBQ areas (Gas BBQ's are not permitted).
e)Excessive exposure to loud music may cause damage to your hearing.
f)Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting/special effects may take place during some performances.
g)The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is strictly forbidden onsite without written permission from the promoter.

HOUSEKEEPING
a)Please use the bins and recycling points provided on and off site.
b)No animals, other than guide or hearing dogs, are permitted on site.

CAMPERVAN & CARAVAN TERMS & CONDITIONS 2017

CAMPERVAN / CARAVAN AREA
As part of our terms and conditions we do not permit makeshift campervans/caravans on site at our events. Many won't have sufficient ventilation, water or door separation, and the risk from the gas and fire is an obvious one. The decision that your campervan or caravan meets the criteria is made by the Campervan area manager.

Definition of a Campervan / Caravan
1.There must be a door that provides access to the living accommodation.
2.It should be a living accommodation vehicle with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking and/or washing facilities (A screwed in bed with a washing up bowl and/or cooking facilities would not be permitted - they must be fitted).
3.There must be a water storage tank or container on or in the vehicle, and/ or a permanently fixed cooking facility within the vehicle powered by gas or electricity.
Please note the following:-
.Unsuitable vehicles, including unconverted vans, with campervan / caravan tickets will not be allowed entry and will be sent to one of the festival car parks - this is contrary to our licence, security patrols will not permit sleeping in any vehicles in these car parks.
.Trailer tents are permitted however a Campervan/ Caravan Ticket must be purchased.
.There is NO water or electricity hook up available. There will be a water point and waste tank in the campsite for general use.
.All waste-water(grey waste) must be put in the containers provided. It is illegal to pour waste-water onto the ground, into a sump or into a stream.
.Campervan/Caravan ticket holders must use the toilets provided in the campsite and not pollute streams or hedges.
.Access and use of the campervan/caravan area is provided subject to these terms and conditions (T&C's) and the general terms and conditions of entry to the event. Purchasing a permit constitutes your acceptance of these T&C'S

TICKETS/PASSES
.You will first need to purchase a weekend ticket first for every occupant of the campervan or caravan.
.The Campervan Permit is a supplementary pass only, and are sold per vehicle, which needs to be clearly displayed in the windscreen of your campervan/car + caravan on arrival at the site.
You must specify whether Family Campervan/Caravan or General Campervan/Caravan when purchasing ticket, as these tickets are not interchangeable onsite. Each person within the vehicle must have a valid weekend ticket and ONLY weekend ticket holders will be permitted into the campervan/caravan area.
o FAMILY CAMPERVAN - only available with weekend family camping tickets.
o STANDARD CAMPERVAN - only available with standard weekend tickets.
.Due to a number of campervan/caravan passes going missing in the past, we will now be charging E6.50 extra for a secure delivery method to ensure tickets are delivered to the original purchaser.
.Please ensure you select the correct ticket for the type of vehicle you will be bringing into the festival site: the options are campervan or caravan + car. These tickets are not interchangeable on site. (Please note for Campervan/Caravan passes the purchaser will be required to bring the original proof of purchase to site along with their pass. This is to prevent touting of campervan passes).
.There are no campervan or caravan facilities for day ticket holders.

CARS AND ARRIVAL
.Travel directions will be available on the website closer to the event. Please follow signage and travel directions for Campervan or Family Campervan.
.Towing vehicles must remain with the caravans, not parked elsewhere.
.All vehicles other than towing vehicles must be parked in the car parks.
.No other vehicles will be allowed entry into this field; this includes late replacement vehicles in the case of a breakdown vehicles cannot be towed onto the field.
.We do not accept campervans/caravans which have been driven down or sited by non-festivalgoers. This includes staff from hire companies, so please ensure you liaise with them to collect the vehicle off site first.

FIRE SAFETY
.No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time.
.A clear separation distance of 3 meters is to be kept between all caravans / campervans.
.No tents or awnings may be erected in the campervan/caravan fields, for fire safety reasons.
.The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars.
.Only gas cylinders fitted within the campervan/caravan will be permitted. Cylinders should only be stored in the unit's gas locker; and must be 7kg or less.
.Gas cylinders must always be transported and secured in a vertical position, as lying them down may cause liquid LPG to escape through the valve and become a large volume of combustible gas
.With the exception of diesel generators fitted within the campervan, generators are not permitted in the campervan fields
.Open fires are NOT permitted. The use of disposable BBQ's and permitted cooking stoves are only permitted in designated BBQ areas (Gas BBQ's are not permitted).
.Disposable barbecues must only be used in the dedicated Barbeque areas.

GENERAL
.All litter must be cleared and put into bins or recycling bins.
.Anyone resisting confiscation of disallowed items or disregarding the conditions set out in the Tickets Terms and Conditions and additionally the Campervan and Caravan conditions will face eviction.
.No trading of any kind is permitted from campervans/caravans.
.No sound systems are to be operated in the campervan/caravan fields. Anyone found operating such systems may be liable to eviction.
.Excessive amounts of alcohol, food and cigarettes i.e. more than for personal consumption and any alcohol in the possession of anyone under 18 years of age is not permitted. STRICTLY NO GLASS IS ALLOWED
.No animals other than guide or hearing dogs are permitted on site.
.The fields must be clear by 13:00PM on the Monday. All remaining vehicles will be removed.
.Your vehicle may be searched on entry to the event site.
.The security staff will check for any items not permitted on site, as specified in the general Terms & Conditions of entry. Security staff will confiscate any such items and may refuse entry to the site. The discretion and decision of the security team will be final.
