The Kilkenny Arts Festival has just announced an extraordinary program of events for the 2009 Festival.
No other Irish Festival offers Kilkenny's unique curatorial model of programming, and these eight cultural collaborators are all leading artists and practitioners in their fields. They've worked together with Festival Chief Executive Damian Downes to bring a breath-taking calendar of art, music, literature and performance to the beautiful city of Kilkenny, in its 400th year, for an exhilarating ten days from 7 to 16 August.
