ERIU - St. Patrick's Eve

ERIU - St. Patrick's Eve

A St. Patrick's Eve experience like no other

On St. Patrick's Eve, Body&Soul will wrap an age-old tradition in a contemporary cloak at the Irish Museum of Modern Art for ERIU, a wild and intimate look at Irish ól, ceoil and craic. As twilight melts into darkness, a two-course feast will fuel a reverie of indulgence for a very limited number of guests. Once supper ends, the Baroque Chapel, Great Hall and Vaults will open to a larger audience for a carefully selected lineup featuring LAMB, Jape, R.S.A.G, The Máirtín O' Connor Band, Katie Kim and Jennifer Evans. Curating the Baroque Chapel, Donal Dineen showcases emerging Irish acts including Subplots, Margie Lewis, Landless, as heady, sweaty electronica fills the shadowy depths of the Vaults - served up by the legendary Tonie Walsh.

LAMB, Jape, R.S.A.G., Donal Dineen and more play ERIU

A carefully curated evening of music, visual art and cuisine with LAMB, Jape, R.S.A.G, The Máirtin O'Connor Band, Katie Kim and Jannifer Evans headlining the Great Hall, ERIU highlights contemporary Ireland's cultural vibrancy.

New and established artists, live performances and bespoke visuals by Guerrilla Shout will enliven the night which starts with a very limited capacity, two-course Wild Irish feast in The Vaults, expertly prepared by Katie Sanderson (Living Dinners, Dillisk) and Keith Coleman (The Fumbally Café). These widely celebrated chefs will add their modern culinary magic to traditional Irish dishes.

Much acclaimed and respected `muso' Donal Dineen will curate the Baroque Chapel, showcasing the range and depth of musical talent in Ireland right now with four emerging acts including Subplots, Margie Lewis, and Landless while Tonie Walsh quakes the Royal Hospital's foundations in The Vaults with some heady, sweaty electronica. Set in three stunning rooms, guests will be swept across the courtyard to the Baroque Chapel, the Great Hall and into The Vaults.

Marrying our Celtic heritage with Ireland's contemporary creative scene, ERIU comprises all the parts that make a Body&Soul experience so special - a colourful fusion of the curious and the unexpected. Enjoy a Bulmers bar, an O'Brien's Wines selection of hand-picked wines available to taste and buy and a cocktail bar serving up deliciously modern Irish cocktails.
