Irish writers celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the UDHR

Some of Ireland's best known authors have come together to contribute to a unique celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in collaboration with Amnesty International and the Irish Times.

The reading evenings are a celebration of the Irish Times series which has carried original works from 30 writers, featuring one of the thirty articles of the Declaration and a writer's response to, or interpretation, of it.

The reading events will take place in the Edmund Burke Theatre, Trinity College Dublin this December, and writers appearing on each night are as follows:

Tuesday 9 December
