The Arts Centre is situated at the heart of the University of Wales Aberystwyth. The turning onto campus is from the A487 as you head north out of the main Aberystwyth town centre in the direction of Machynlleth, and is well signposted.


There are large car parks adjacent to the Arts Centre and on campus which are free for customers in the evening after 17:00 and at weekends. Please note that if you are visiting the Arts Centre during the daytime you should follow the signs to the Visitors Car Park, for which there is a small charge.

Public Transportation

The nearest train station is in Aberystwyth, adjacent to the main bus and coach terminals, which run regular services to the University campus. Train services to Aberystwyth run approximately every two hours except on Sundays. Box Office Collection Accepted

Tickets held for collection can be collected from the venue on the day of the event. Please take the credit card used to make the booking and your Ticketmaster reference number with you.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair access is possible to all auditoria and workshop spaces in the venue. Access at ground level to main foyer and box office, by lift up to the theatre foyer and by stair lift down to the lower level. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcomed. Toilet facilities are accessible on all levels except the lower foyer. Hearing loops are installed in the Great Hall, Theatre and Cinema. Accessible parking is available. General Rules

No cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices. No food in auditoria during performance. No bottles or cans in auditoria during performance No illegal substances. Alcohol on sale in bars before/after and during interval No mobile phones in auditoria. The Arts Centre is a non-smoking venue.

Children Rules

Children aged under 2 will only be admitted to family/childrens performances. They can sit on their parents/guardians laps and do not require an additional ticket. Children aged over 2 years old will require a ticket. Children may be asked to leave if they become unhappy and cause a disruption to performers or audience.
