About
Sleaford Mods
Hailing from Nottingham, Sleaford Mods are one of the most uncompromising and vital voices in British music today. Fusing punk ethos with sparse electronic production, the duo’s raw live energy and unfiltered commentary have earned them a dedicated global following.
Formed in 2007, Sleaford Mods is comprised of vocalist Jason Williamson and musician Andrew Fearn. The pair have won over legions of fans in recent years with their minimalist style and humorous, politically charged lyrics.
The duo's 2021 album 'Spare Ribs' – their third top ten album since 2019 and the most successful of their 12 studio releases, showcased their evolution into a fully realised and defining band - like The Jam, The Clash or Public Enemy were. Their upcoming 2023 release 'UK Grim' builds on the unique, insurrectionary strengths of previous records, addressing the duo's despair, anger and alienation at the state of the post-Brexit UK.
Their first new material since the 2023 album 'UK Grim', 2025 single “Megaton” blends rolling beats with atmospheric electronics, underpinned by Jason Williamson’s uncompromising lyricism and cultural commentary.
Continuing Sleaford Mods’ ongoing support for the charity, £1/€1 from every ticket sold will be donated to War Child, aiding their work with children affected by conflict.
