BICEP PRESENT CHROMA AV DJ SET plus JOY ORBISON, SALLY C & SHE

Belfast-born/London-based duo BICEP (Matt McBriar & Andy Ferguson) are childhood friends who bonded over a shared love of dance music. In the decades since first meeting, aged 8, Bicep have become one of the world’s most avidly appreciated curators & producers of electronic music.

Recently hailed by the BBC as “one of the biggest names in UK dance”, Bicep continue to cement themselves as one of the defining global electronic acts of our times. Their most recent release “Water” was described as nothing short of “anthemic” by Mixmag, & saw Billboard opine that the duo “consistently creates some of the most powerful electronic atmospheres on the market”, as well as commending their “mind-blowing live performances.”

Bicep released their hotly anticipated second album, ‘Isles’, in January 2021, which debuted at #2 on the UK Official Albums Chart & #1 on the UK Official Vinyl Albums Chart, earning the duo 2x BRITs nominations in the process.

Peter O'Grady, better known as JOY ORBISON, is a DJ and producer based in London. His style is a coalescence of house, dubstep, UK funky, UK garage and oldschool jungle. O'Grady achieved underground success with his debut single "Hyph Mngo", released via Hotflush Recordings in October 2009. He is also known for his collaborations with Overmono, Boddika and recent remixes for Jorja Smith.

If recent times have taught us anything, it’s that SALLY C ain’t messing about. The Belfast-born, Berlin-based DJ has stamped herself as one of the most exciting new artists on the scene, thanks wholly to her inspired selector skills. With a deep passion for vintage house that crosses the gamut of hip house and acid, right up to future-facing techno and electro rollers, she has developed a knack for selecting timeless, slept on classics that deserve the shine her sets bring.

With a distinct flair on the ones and twos, recent highlights include making her Panorama Bar debut during Berghain’s massive reopening month in October 2021, supporting The Chemical Brothers at The Warehouse Project, playing mainstage of her hometown AVA festival b2b with Cromby and being a repeat guest at renowned Kyiv institution ∄, rated by many as the best club in the world.

Many would point to her still-talked-about Boiler Room gig at AVA Festival in 2019 at her coming-of-age moment. That day she smashed it out of the park, leading RA to laude her a festival highlight alongside the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble and Rebekah, noting her “musical range and technicalacuity”.

Despite being a Kerry native, it’s fair to say that SHEE made a name for himself while attending college in Limerick when he founded the Touch of Techno collective alongside Charlie Moloney. After quickly realising that his sound lay much further across the house than techno spectrum, their collective’s name is indeed a bit misleading however through bookings such as Baltra and Folamour the pair slowly changed their sound, with Shee excelling through his production’s online popularity over time.

Headline shows have come all across the country as he quietly won the respect of fellow producers and punters as his output continued to increase. The scope of SHEE’s popularity soon became apparent when promoters across Europe started pencilling him in for dates across France, Belgium and more, alongside fellow Soundcloud stars such as Niles Cooper, all while his name and sound became a staple of YouTube channels such as Houseum. ‘Am I Just Living’ is his latest hit taken from his Champagne and Guinness EP and yet again proves exactly why his name has been a staple on festival lineups such as Life, Higher Vision and Mass over the past few years. 2023 saw the likes of Fred Again, Barry Can’t Swim and more performing SHEE’s music across the world.
