Black Country, New Road announce new headline tour for 2021

Black Country, New Road sound like a proper filthy juggernaut of a band, a real experience to behold. At times, colossal metal riffs mangle with frenetic jazz freakouts; occasionally film noir string motifs are motored into the urgent present with a razortight rhythm section.

“one of the most exciting bands of Britain’s experimental new breed.” - Mojo

Catch Black Country, New Road live at Whelan's Dublin on Saturday 27 February 2021.

Tickets for Black Country, New Road are €17.50 each excluding service charge.

Seven piece London and Cambridge collective, Black Country, New Road are four men and three women often described as 21 year olds making music for other 21 year olds. BCNR are violin player Georgia Ellery, bassist Tyler Hyde, sax player Lewis Evans, keys May Kershaw, drums Charlie Wayne and guitarists Luke Mark and Isaac Wood.

Speedy Wunderground, the brainchild of Dan Carey, which also has Black Midi, Sinead O'Brien and Kate Tempest on it's roster.

BCNR spent the start of 2020 performing a number of sold-out and memorable live shows, before beginning work on their as-yet-untitled and much-anticipated debut album.

To date they've released two singles, "Athen's France" and "Sunglasses". Watch the video for "Sunglasses" here. Here's some praise from the press for "Sunglasses":
