Bord Bia Bloom 2026, celebrating 20 Years in Bloom!

Bord Bia Bloom returns to the Phoenix Park, Dublin, marking its 20th year over the 2026 June Bank Holiday weekend, from 28 May to 1 June 2026. The event will run daily from 9am to 6pm, spanning a 70-acre site. Bloom has established itself as one of Ireland’s favourite summer events, drawing garden enthusiasts, food lovers, craft aficionados, and families seeking a memorable day out.

Festival History and Growth

Since its inception in 2007, Bord Bia Bloom has blossomed into Ireland’s largest festival of gardening, food, and sustainable living. The 2026 edition promises to bring together the nation’s leading horticulturalists, garden designers, and food producers, creating an inspiring and engaging experience for all attendees.

Bloom 2026 will showcase the very best of Irish gardening, cuisine, and sustainability. Visitors can look forward to:

Gardens and Horticulture

A wide variety of stunning Show Gardens and horticultural features including many of Ireland’s top nurseries will inspire enthusiasts of all ages and levels of expertise.

Food Experience

Attendees can sample and purchase locally produced foods and watch live cooking demonstrations from renowned Irish chefs. The popular "Taste of Bloom" experience, curated by Neven Maguire, returns with a special three-course lunch served at the Garden View restaurant.

Sustainability

The Conversation Area will host leading conservationists and environmentalists, offering insights into practical actions for improving the environment. At the Sustainable Living stage, experts will share advice on conservation, biodiversity, wildlife protection, and climate change solutions. Family Fun

Bloom welcomes familiar favourites and introduces new activities for children. The Budding Bloomers area features a lively mix of interactive, educational, and entertaining activities. Up to two children under 16 can attend for free with each adult ticket.

Entertainment

RTÉ will broadcast live from the central Picnic Area, where visitors can relax with a picnic or a meal while enjoying live music, chat shows, and performances from RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ Lyric FM personalities.

Retail and Craft Village

The festival’s Craft Village offers a rich selection of floral displays, homewares, jewellery, accessories, and unique creations from talented Irish designers and makers.

Yes. Children (16 and under) enter for free (two per paying adult) and can enjoy the Budding Bloomers area with many activities. Additional children’s tickets cost €5 each.

Limited tickets may be available at the gate, but entry cannot be guaranteed on popular days.
