One of Ireland’s much-loved equestrian, family and social events, the RDS Dublin Horse Show runs from 14 - 18 August 2024.

Filled with great fun, good food, fancy drinks, and a little dressing up, the RDS Dublin Horse Show is a dazzling social occasion; a unique place to meet up with friends and family to experience lively bars, great food, style and shopping.

And we haven’t even mentioned horses! But throughout the five days the extensive RDS grounds will be taken over by some of the best horses from around Ireland and the world. It is, after all, considered one of the top global equestrian events and all in the heart of Dublin city.

The fun isn’t just restricted to adults; there is the Kids’ Zone for children with entertainment as well as face painting and giant games!

Don’t forget to get suited and booted for RDS Dublin Horse Show Best Dressed on Thursday August 15. Traditionally known as Ladies’ Day at the RDS Dublin Horse Show, it is filled with frocks, fascinators, fancy style, and of course, brilliant fun!

Over 168 national & international equestrian competitions will take place during the 149th Show, including Friday’s famous Nations Cup for the Aga Khan Trophy. Regarded as one of the most prestigious annual show jumping competitions in the world, the competition for the Aga Khan Trophy attracts some of the best international horse and rider combinations from around the globe.

Since 1864 the RDS Dublin Horse Show has been creating summer memories. Make some of your own at this unique summer event, Wednesday 14 August to Sunday 18 August.

As one of the highlights of the summer, the RDS Dublin Horse Show is a great place for families, with a dedicated Kids Zone and entertainment throughout the grounds.

The Best Dressed competition takes place on Thursday August 15, which is traditionally known as Ladies’ Day.  A fantastic mix of style and fun for all attendees over 18 years old, you can enter on the day to be in with a chance to win a number of amazing prizes.
