Belsonic returns to Custom House Square this August!

Belsonic returns to Belfast's Custom House Square this August, delivering an eclectic range of world class musical artists. A hugely successful Northern Irish music event, Belsonic has become renowned for bringing international talent to the heart of the city centre's revitalised and historic Cathedral Quarter.

Among the this year's all-star cast of headline acts are Basement Jaxx, Ben Howard, The Lumineers, Jake Bugg, Suede, Steve Angello & Bullet For My Valentine.

Belsonic line-up additions include Nine Inch Nails, James, The Courteeners, Michael Kiwanuka, ASIWYFA, GOJIRA and many more.

Friday 16 August: Basement Jaxx [Live] & Guests

Electronic superstars BASEMENT JAXX are best known for their massive audio/visual live show, and huge club hits including "Red Alert" and "Where's Your Head At?" The English duo behind Basement Jaxx, comprising of Felix Buxton & Simon Ratcliffe, release their sixth studio LP, entitled "Music", later this year.

Saturday 17 August: Ben Howard & Guests

BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter BEN HOWARD shot to fame following the release of his acclaimed debut album "Every Kingdom". His dark indie-folk stylings have drawn comparisons to Nick Drake & John Martyn.

Wednesday 21 August: Nine Inch Nails + ASIWYFA & Guests

Legendary American Industrial Rock group NINE INCH NAILS formed in 1988, and quickly became flag bearers for a groundbreaking musical fusion of electronic and heavy rock music following the release of "Pretty Hate Machine", their 1989 long play debut. Eight albums and twenty five years later, the bands global influence is stronger than ever. The band make their Northern Irish debut at Belsonic, as well as their first Irish headline performance in almost 20 years.

Thursday 22 August: The Lumineers + Michael Kiwanuka & Soak

American folk-rock group THE LUMINEERS took the UK by storm with debut single "Ho Hey" and their self titled debut, which has already been certified gold in the UK, US, Canada & Ireland. They are currently embarked on a sold out European tour.

Friday 23 August: Jake Bugg + The Courteeners, Nina Nesbitt & Silhouette

English singer-songwriter Jake Bugg shot straight to Number 1 in the UK album charts in October 2012 with his eponymously debut LP. His success has continued into 2013, with a string of sold-out UK shows, and plaudits from Noel Gallagher & The Stone Roses.

Saturday 24 August: Suede + James & Guests

Having recently reformed after almost 10 years of hiatus, legendary English Alternative group SUEDE are preparing to release "Bloodsports", a brand new LP. The band's heavyweight back catalogue includes "The Beautiful Ones", "Trash", "Animal Nitrate" and "New Generation".

Bank Holiday Sunday 25 August 25: Size Matters - Steve Angello, An21, Max Vangeli & Third Party

STEVE ANGELLO is a household name in Dance Music, whether it be through his own chart-topping productions, or his work as a member of Swedish House Mafia. Size Matters represents the live identity for Angellos "Size Records" imprint. He is joined on this bill by label-mates AN21, Max Vangeli and Third Party.

Monday 26 August: Bullet For My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon, Gojira & Guests

Welsh metal-core 4 piece BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have sold in excess of 3 Million LPs worldwide. Their fourth studio LP "Temper Temper" is out now, and has stormed the album charts on both sides of the Atlantic. They are joined by Sheffield-based metallers BRING ME THE HORIZON, whose reputation for creating frantic, progressive metal is only rivalled by their fiercely energetic live performances.
