About

Swiftogeddon is a night run by fans, for fans to come together and worship at the altar of Taylor Swift: non-stop Swifty all night: deep cuts, extended mixes, fan favourites and all the hits.

The greatest songwriter of her generation? That's not for us to say. But if it were, then we would say: absolutely yes. Who else has articulated the emotions of love, life and growing up better than Taylor, over the course of her eleven (and four rerecorded) amazing albums?

Swiftogeddon began in August 2019, the first event of its kind anywhere in the world, an idea inspired by a deep love of Taylor's music by a long-time Swiftie. A night playing songs by just one artist? Who at that point only had six albums? How on earth could that work? Brilliantly, it turned out, as Swifties joyously came together to celebrate and sing and dance to the incredible discography created by one phenomenal woman.

Soon, there were more nights taking place in more cities; after a pause for the pandemic during which time Taylor blessed us with the astounding Folklore and Evermore, the club exploded into life from July 2022 onwards, spreading to over 40 cities across the UK and Ireland. With the subsequent release of Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department, together with new tracks from the Vault on Taylor's rerecorded albums, the club has been gifted an unparalleled array of songs to play, spanning a huge range of genres and emotions. Each night the Swiftogeddon DJs take you on a unique journey through Taylor's music; the soundtrack to our lifetimes.

"Swiftogeddon began as a novelty one-off but it’s now a weekly sellout event where strangers become best pals and every song is greeted as if it were the greatest ever written," wrote The Guardian in an extensive feature on the night. "It is amazing. Nights such as Swiftogeddon strengthen what is sometimes a hectic and competitive fan community with shared experience between tours. They give devotees a chance to live out her songs without the pressure of having to look at the stage, film every second or take a week’s leave to vie for tickets. Countless times on the dancefloor, I found myself singing ardently to people with whom I’d just happened to make eye contact as they serenaded me back: at that second, we were best friends and perfect strangers sharing an exquisite moment."

Swiftogeddon attendees in Dublin told The Irish Times that, "they regard Swiftogeddon as a safe space filled with “love and happiness”... The vibe is so helpful, loving, and everyone is here, united at church.”

Stylist magazine's Katie Collins wrote: "I have friends who now join me at Swiftogeddon because they love Taylor too, not just because they love me - friendship enters a new dimension when you're screaming Back to December in each other's sweaty faces at 3am".

Even Taylor herself reacted to a video from one of the early Swiftogeddons on Tumblr, writing: “WHAT!!!!!!!! This is amazing!!!!”

With the, quite literally, era-defining magnificence of Taylor's current world tour lifting her into the stratosphere, Swiftogeddon is here to continue celebrating her work and legacy as she continues her journey as an artist. Come join us at the greatest club night on earth.
