About
The Lumineers
With 24 #1 hits across various radio formats, The Lumineers have quickly ascended to become one of the world’s most beloved bands of any genre. Having started out in small clubs and open mics, the band has grown into a touring powerhouse, selling out arenas across the world. The Lumineers made their international breakthrough in 2012 with the hit song “Ho Hey,” the first single from their self-titled debut album. The album itself was a massive success, rising to #2 on the Billboard 200 and earning 3x RIAA Platinum certification in both the U.S. and Canada. The band also received two GRAMMY® Award nominations, including “Best New Artist.”
Their second album, 'Cleopatra', debuted at #1 on the album charts in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., becoming certified RIAA platinum in the U.S. and 2x platinum in Canada. The hit single “Ophelia” from Cleopatra has garnered over a billion streams on Spotify alone. In 2019, The Lumineers released their third album, III, which was met with both critical and commercial success. The lead single “Gloria” topped the charts in Americana, Adult Alternative, and Alternative formats, spending six consecutive weeks at #1 on the latter.
Their fourth album, 'BRIGHTSIDE', released in January 2022, also enjoyed major success, reaching the top ten in both the U.S. and Canada. The title track reached #1 on Billboard’s Alternative National Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts—the band's sixth #1 on the latter chart in under 10 years. The accompanying 'BRIGHTSIDE World Tour' sold over 1.1 million tickets across 120 cities, 29 countries, and 6 continents, including two record-breaking sold-out stadium shows at Coors Field in Denver and Wrigley Field in Chicago. At Coors Field, they set the record for the highest-attended concert, and at Wrigley Field, they broke their own record by grossing $3.6 million. The band’s first live album, 'Live From Wrigley Field', is culled from that record breaking show. In recent years, The Lumineers have earned the respect of their peers, leading to collaborations with top artists such as P!nk, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, and James Bay.
