British Icon Gabrielle to Support ‘The Black Eyed Peas’ Monster Stadium Show in Galway

Its official. The Black Eyes Peas are coming to Galway. The city will come alive when one of the world’s most exciting, dynamic and successful groups of our generation play to 26,000 fans in Galway’s Pearse Stadium on 04 June 2022 (bank holiday weekend).

Gabrielle, one of Britain’s outstanding female artists of the past 25 years will support ‘The Black Eyed Peas’ when they rock Galway’s Pearse Stadium in June this year.

The Black Eyed Peas, with 35 million album sales, 9 international number one singles and 6 Grammys, recently announced their only confirmed show in Ireland and will rock Galway’s Pearse Stadium on June 4th 2022. British music icon Gabrielle and Ireland’s punk-pop powerhouse The Blizzards have just been announced to support.

Gabrielle’s record breaking debut single ‘Dreams’ spent three weeks at #1 in the summer of 1993. Her #1 album Rise went on to become one of the most successful of the era and has been certified 4 x Platinum for hitting over 1.2 million sales. It shot up the charts in 2000 and 2001 with iconic songs like Out Of Reach, When A Woman, Sunshine and Should I Stay. Her new album ‘Do It Again’ released in March last year charted in the official UK charts at #4 and was met with brilliant reviews. She’s won numerous BRIT and MOBO Awards as well as the prestigious Ivor Novello Award in 2008 for ‘Outstanding Song Collection’.

Multi-award winning and platinum album selling artists The Blizzards, one of Ireland’s most powerful punk-pop live acts complete the impressive line-up. The band have just released their latest single ‘Trigger Me’ written by front man Bressie.

Dea Matrona have also been confirmed as support on the day.

As The Black Eyed Peas have not played in Ireland for 11 years this show will be one of the most highly anticipated live music events of the decade.
