Vanessa Carlton is a singer, songwriter, and pianist from Pennsylvania in America who began playing piano as a toddler and wrote her first piece of music aged eight.
In April 2002, she released her debut album, Be Not Nobody which featured the smash hits A Thousand Miles and Ordinary Day.
2004 saw the release of Harmonium, the much anticipated follow up to her award winning debut.
