Welsh rockers, Attack! Attack!, are proud to announce that they will their have recent single, 'You and Me', included on the fifth instalment of the Guitar Hero video game. The hard-working South Wales quartet have already knocked-up tours alongside Lostprophets, Funeral For A Friend, In Case Of Fire, The Blackout and Forever The Sickest Kids in both the UK and Europe since the release of their self-titled debut album last year.

Activision Publishing, Inc. announced yesterday that the band had won the Guitar Hero Listening Session at MIDEM 2009. The listen session was voted on by a panel of industry veterans, with the band beating over 200 other submissions. MIDEM 2009, which ran from the 18 - 21 January, is seen by music professionals from across the globe as a place to discover up-and-coming music superstars and meet with the music community at large. During MIDEM 2008, Irish band, The Answer, was discovered at a similar Guitar Hero Listening Session, resulting in one of their popular tracks appearing on Guitar Hero® World Tour's set list.

"It's generated unbelievable exposure for the band." Commented The Answer's frontman Cormac Neeson "In this day and age its one of those priceless mediums to get our music out to people who wouldn't normally be discovering us."

Frontman, Neil Starr and his bandmates are understandably over the moon about the news; "Finding out we were going to be on the next Guitar Hero was unbelievable. It's a game we all love playing and one that has keep us entertained on tour for many, many hours. I keep having to pinch myself to make sure this is not some kind of dream! I think I know what Charlie felt like now when he found the last golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory!" the singer commented.

The band who release their next single 'Honesty' as a download-only on Monday 18 May, embark on a headline tour in support of the release.
